Hanami Pink

From Mid January to early May, sakura (or Cherry blossoms) bloom all over Japan. Hanami is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers and “Flower” in almost every case means cherry blossoms in Japan. The entire  country plans around the week or two that the tree blossoms.  In modern day Japan hanami represents the outdoor parties that take place during the daytime or night during Hanami season.  A sea of pink is how it is described all over the country.  It is the country’s reason to bring people together for fellowship and picnicking under the cherry blossom trees.   Japan, you have us sold.  So go Hanami on over to Japan and Journey on ...
