We love how comfortable and solid they feel but have now started to have the mechanism collapsing issue on both of ours. Is there a fix? What are my options? I wish we’d read more reviews :(. Thx!
Bought two of these two days ago , sat in them at Dicks and the chair was great , since purchasing you can’t sit in the chair it will collapse constantly.
Just bought this chair 2 hours ago to use at a soccer game . My second time sitting in the chair , the locking mechanism collapses and the metal digs into my back bone . Not sure who designed the locking mechanism but it doesn’t work at all . I will be going to get a refund asap , I would not recommend buying these chairs for anyone . Good concept but awful engineering. My suggestion would be having a strap at the bottom of the locking bars to make it not be able to push up .
I sat in this chair in a Dick’s Sporting Goods and was impressed by how comfortable it was. However, when I brought it home and sat in it and leaned forward just a little bit the back collapse and it felt like the chair was going to fold up on me. I stood up and pushed the back mechanism back down and sat in the chair again. Almost immediately the mechanism released and it felt like the chair was going to fold up again! That mechanism is horrible. It’s too bad because the idea of the chair with a high back and the rocking back is great. But the design is terrible. It was an impulse buy. I wish I would have read the reviews. Do not purchase this chair!
Just purchased a kijaro rokback chair and the first time using it the locking mechanism keeps unlocking which causes the chair to try and close up while sitting in it. Wish I would have read the reviews prior to buying since that seems to be a problem that everyone is having.
